Tap - Sundays, 5:45-6:30pm 8-week session
Jazz - Sundays, 6:30 - 7:15pm
Barre Fitness - Wednesdays, 8:15-9:00pm
No Experience Required! Ages 15 & up
Cost: Our Adult classes run on a punch-card system because we know how busy adults are!
We offer a 6- and 10-class punch card.
6-class card: $72 + taxes
10-class card: $110 + taxes

Barre Fitness Classes
Need a change from the same old workout routine?
Join us for Barre Fitness!
It's a great, full body workout to strengthen and tone. Although
we use a Ballet Barre, this is far from a ballet class! During class we
use weights, tubing, Pilates balls and the ballet barre used for dance
classes throughout the workout.
A great class for all skills and abilities! Everything can be
modified for ease or a challenge.

Ages 16 & up are welcome!
All levels of fitness and dance experience

My name is Pamela Nelson. I have been incorporating yoga into my life for over 25 years and teaching for just over 15.
I completed my degree in Land Use and Environmental Studies and Physical Geography from the University of Saskatchewan at around the same time I started yoga. I find that yoga has helped me keep a deep connection to the earth and keep focused on the health of the earth and how amazing it is in the many ways it provides for us. As a young mother when I started I found it helped to bring an openness to the body and quietness to the mind as well as more confidence and personal self acceptance.
I am so grateful to be learning the Iyengar style of yoga from many wonderful and qualified instructors.
I am a member of the Iyengar Association of Canada (IYAC) and have completed 3 major assessments and am certified as an Intermediate Junior II Iyengar teacher at the national level. Our training is based on a mentor ship so not only are training hours required but also mentorship and yearly professional development hours.
I regularly attend Iyengar yoga classes, AGM’s, workshops and intensives held by senior international IY teachers, including travelling to Pune, India for a month to study with the Iyengar family in 2013 and in 2018. I have also completed a Yoga for Trauma training. This path is more then many courses and workshops but has allowed me an opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, travel to many great places and experience yoga on and off the mat.
I am dedicated to lifelong learning and committed to sharing my training and experience with students of yoga.
I teach all level of classes including Beginner, All-levels, Intermediate, Iyengar Flow, Gentle/Restorative, Backs and Joints, Senior/Modified and Youth and Active Adaptive Yoga.
My teaching style is clear, pragmatic and direct yet filled with gentle humor and joy.
