Psychology, we are excited to share the joys
and benefits of dance
with Prince Albert's children and youth
with unique needs and exceptionalities!
Unique Needs/Exceptionalities may include challenges or diagnoses such as:
Developmental Disabilities or challenges (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorders, cognitive disabilities, learning or language disorders or challenges, etc.)
Spin 'n' Sparkle Sundays!
Our Spin 'n' Sparkle program will be on Sunday afternoons, and will include 2 class placement options (30 minute and 45 minute classes).
"Ruby" Class - Sundays, 1:00 - 1:30pm (30 minutes)**
"Sapphire" Class - Sundays, 1:45 - 2:30pm (45 minutes)**
**Our director(s) will meet individually with each child and family to discuss individual challenges, needs and goals for the program, and place the child in the class that is most appropriate for him/her.
One-on-One Volunteer Assistant: Each student will be paired with a Volunteer assistant that will stay with him/her for the entire length of the session/season.
2021-22 Season - We will ask families to provide an assistant for the class. In future seasons, students will be paired with a dancer as an assistant.
Tuition for the 2020-21 Season Spin 'n' Sparkle classes is as follows:
Registration Fee: $25 (gst incl)
30-minute Class: $45 + gst
45-minute Class: $50 + gst
For this debut session, we will have students take the class from September-December. Students can continue into the next session, January-May if they would like to continue and prepare a stage dance for our year-end showcase (note: the 2021 show details will depend upon the restrictions and state of the Covid outbreak).
