What is PBT?

"Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best. One of the important elements used in the PBT method is muscle memory which helps to improve students' understanding of core stability, weight placement and alignment. Each exercise in the PBT program has been developed with care and guidance by Marie Walton-Mahon along with a team of physiotherapists."

Ballet Feet - Ballet-inspired creative movement class

This is our most popular preschool class! Our little dancers love to learn the foundation skills of dance, movement and music through creativity and imagination!

Ballet Blossoms - Introduction to Pre-Primary Ballet

Our Ballet Blossoms Introduction to Pre-primary ballet class offers a great program that combines fun, creative movement while teaching the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Pre-Primary in Dance syllabus. The RAD ballet program is used worldwide and has high standards for their teachers and dancers.

Pre-Primary Ballet (ages approx 6-7)

Our Pre-primary ballet class builds upon and refines the material that was learned in Ballet Blossoms. This class teaches the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Pre-Primary in Dance syllabus, and dancers are encouraged to take their Royal Academy of Dance Class Award. The RAD ballet program is used worldwide and has high standards for their teachers and dancers.

Progressing from our Pre-Primary class, the Primary Ballet class focused in even more on the technique of classical ballet, while still encouraging and maintaining creative movement and imagination in their dancing!

Taught by our Registered and experienced Royal Academy of Dance teacher and examiner, Miss Gillian McCaffery.

**This is a competition group - all dancers taking 2 classes per week attend 3 festivals/competitions in Prince Albert, Saskatoon and area in/around the month of April. Entry fees apply.
